Task-based Language Teaching 6.Teaching procedures Step 1: Greetings and lead-in Enjoy a video of JURASSIC PARK. Step 2．Warming up and pre-reading Brainstorming ----Is the return of the Dinosaurs possible? Step 3: While-reading Activity 1 ： Skimming Ask the students to read the passage by themselves as quickly as possible and finish the exercises: Exercise 1: What’s the main idea of the passage?

Exercise 2: find out the topic sentences of each paragraph. Activity 2 : Scanning Ask the students to read the passage carefully, Then answer the questions on P16 EXX.1.Next, check their answers and correct the mistakes . Step 4 Discussion Discuss What is your opinion of cloning? Give a reason.
