Dear Lily,
I’m glad to receive your letter. I’m writing to tell you more about the Scholarly Campus Activity in our school this term.
The activity begins in March and ends in June with the aim to get students to read more meaningful books in and after class, especially on weekends. We are required to read some famous works both in Chinese and English and write a review about what we read meanwhile.
Each class has put up their own small library with each student contributing one book to it. In the middle of June, the head teacher will pick out the winner who reads the most in the class by their book reviews. Then, the winners of all classes will compete for the Reading King of the school in the end.
