1. Class opening and review: T: Good morning, everyone. Ss: Good morning, teacher.

T: Today we will learn more about ourselves, our favourite colours. Are you ready?

Ss: Yes. T: First, let’s play a game and review colours.(Show the students the screen with different colours and ask them to guess “what colour is it?” .Review the colour words and sentences through the game and make preparations for the following concepts ) T:Second, consolidate the colour words through asking and answering “what’s this? This is a colour thing.”

New concepts:

1) video play T: We have known to say colours, while do you know how to express your likeness? Today we will learn it. Now let’s look at the video and try to answer the questions: What’s Kim/ Jenny/ Steven/ Danny’s favourite colour?

2) word teaching: favourite 最喜爱的

Lead to read the sentences to practise the pronounciation of new word. Kim's favourite colour is blue. Jenny's favourite colour is blue. Steven's favourite colour is green. Danny's favourite colour is green. 3)

pair work

A:What’s your favourite colour? B: My favourite colour is颜色. 4) video play again and answer What's Kim and Jenny's favourite colour? What's Steven and Danny's favourite colour? They（他们）like blue/green. Their（他们的）favorite colour is blue/green. 5)

group work Three people a group, try to practise the conversation. A: I like blue. B: I like blue, too. C: They like blue.

pair work Two people a pair, try to practise the conversation. A: I like blue. B: I like blue, too. A: We（我们）like blue.
