六．教学过程：

Step one : Warming up

Greeting

Hello! How are you? How’s the weather today?

Step two:New words (一) 出示挂历图片，引出单词month,出示问题How many months in a

year? (二)Learn the twelve months.

①先出示多媒体图片，讨论图片，强调易错发音，并简单练读。

②学习月份的缩写形式，并板书到黑板上。

(三）Practice the new words.

1. Read the words by clapping hands.

2.Read in group.

3.Read with the word cards.

(四）Play a game.

将十二个月份的卡片分到12名学生手里，由没有卡片的同学任意说月份单词，说到哪个月份，哪位同学起立读三次。

Step three:Group work

对话练习：

What’s your favourite month?

My favourite month is ______. 学生们组内活动，小组长组织问答，老师巡视，最后学生展示，选出优秀小组。

Step four: Let’s sing!

播放歌曲<>，学生跟唱。

Step five:Let’s do it!

让学生看书19页第3部分,首先向学生介绍月份的缩写形式。

找一名学生提问：Whose birthday is in____?

这个月份的学生就应该回答My birthday is in ____. 可以换学生继续提问，直至把12个月份全问完。
