Lesson 4 How Many Books Are There？

教学目标：

1、能听、说、读、写四会单词：forty，fifty，sixty，seventy，eighty，ninety，one hundred并能灵活运用。

灵活运用下列句型：How many books are there on my desk ？/ There are eight books . 2、通过学习、认读单词和句子，并能熟练运用数字单词回答“How many”提出的问题。

3、通过各种活动让学生保持学英语的兴趣。 重点难点：

1、how many 是固定短语。意思是“多少”，用于对可数名词数量的提问。

2、there be 句型

意思是“有”，表示在某地存在（有）某物/某人。单数的物或人，be动词用is ，两个或两个以上的物或人，be 动词用are。

3、put ...on... 介词短语，表示“把......放在......上。”

教学过程：

一、Greeting T:Good morning,boys and girls. Ss:Good morning,teacher. 二、Review 利用摆放的学习用具回答：Where is ____? It’s ___(in,on,under,between,beside)____. 三、Lesson hook:今天我们将要学***数字数数的简单方法。

1、Danny’s game 学生在之前已经学习了数字1-20，老师在黑板上写出这些数字，让学生们大声读出来。

看书讨论第一部分的所有图片，找出介词短语并板书：put...on...(把......放在......上)，每幅图要问：How many books are there?让学生找出完整回答的句子:There are ____books，老师总结最终的答案并板书：

How many+可数名词复数+there are there be 句型有

there is（用于单数的人或物）

there are（用于两个或两个以上的人或物）

播放录音两遍，学生看书跟读。

Practice 将全班分成若干小组。一些学生整齐地堆起一摞书，问How many books are there?另一组学生数并且回答There are____books. 学生可以搜集尺子、铅笔和钢笔问How many （rulers,pencils,pens)are there? 2、Numbers 让学生看书观察这些数字有哪些联系，有哪些规律。并说出从30-40的数字单词。

老师最后解释如何在数字的末尾加上词缀使他们变成更大的数字。例如：“six-sixteen-sixty,seven-seventeen-seventy...”,“--teen”是十几的词缀，“—ty”是几十的词缀。

播放第二部分两遍，看书跟读。

3、Let’s do it! Match and colour.将英语数字与相应的阿拉伯数字涂成相同数字。
