Unit 4 What can you do第二课时

一、教学重点

本课时的教学重点是What can you do? I can….，要求学生做到四会，并能在情景中自然的加以运用。

二、教学难点

本课时的教学难点是Are you helpful at home？以及在实际情景中正确运用所学对话。

四、教学过程

1．Warm－up（热身）

（1）free talk

（2）第一关：Let’s chant

① 带领学生边听录音边跟着一起有节奏的说唱。（Start部分的Let’s chant）

② 将同学分成几组，按角色来说唱歌谣。

Dog can run ,panda can eat bamboo,mouse can hide in the shoe,mike can draw animals ,they’re all clever. 让我们接着闯第二关。

(3)第二关：guess and spell the phrase

2． Presentation（新课呈现）

T:They’re helpful at home. me too.I can set the table ,clean the desk,wash the clothers…

问生：Are you helpful at home? What can you do ? (10个)

(1).Game： Mike，Mike What can you do？ (板书：What can you do ? I can …)

T:Mike，Mike What can you do？

M：I can ， I can cook the meals.(Mike 问他想问的某位同学全班拍手说 ** What can you do？)

M：Lucy Lucy What can you do? Lucy:I can ，I can sweep the floor. 这个活动一直进行到教师说stop为止. Great! They’re helpful.

Is mike helpful at home? What can he do ? Let’s listen and tick. Open your books and turn to page 47.闯第三关。

第三关：（2）Listen, and tick or cross

① 请学生听录音并看书P47,完成Let’s try 部分的练习。

② 听第三遍录音，带领学生一起订正答案。

（3）Let’s talk

① 出示图片，教师介绍This is Chen and her teacher. Now, let’s listen, what are they talking?

② 理解对话内容后，请学生听录音并反复跟读，提醒学生注意语音语调。

③ 2人一组分角色表演，可以替换单词完成对话。

第四关：④根据情景，创编对话。

3. Consolidation and extension（巩固与扩展）

第五关：（1）Group work

① 教师提出要求，用What can you do at home? I can…. 提问、回答，在4人小组内进行调查，并做好记录。

② 请几名同学汇报调查结果，如Mary can….。

进入面试：

(2): 毛遂自荐——竞聘上岗（羊妈妈需要招聘一位保姆）

Mother goat is ill.She can’t do housework.She wants a baby sitter to look after

her. Can you be the baby sitter,please you come to this meeting. Twelve people in a group.Introduce youself one by one to your headman what can you do ?Headman choose the best one be the baby sitter..Now one, two, go.

过程：以12人小组为单元，其中一位同学为招聘人员，其他五位为应聘人员。用上所学句型“Are you helpful at home? What can you

do?”

(3)情感教育：Father and mother are our best friends. We should love them ,care about them ,help them and do something that we can do .

（4）Let’s sing (唱一唱)

① 教师播放歌曲I can help,请学生听2-3遍，并尽量理解歌词大意。

clothes, dishes可以用图片为学生解释，There is so much I can do. Now I ask you要为学生用中文说明，并带读2-3遍。

② 听并且跟唱，熟练后可请学生分男女生进行表演唱。

4．Homework: ① let’s talk部分的录音，并读给家长听。

②每天回到家，坚持力所能及地做些家务活，减轻妈妈的负担。
