Step 1 Warming-up What day is it today? What date is it today? What is the weather like today? Before class, let’s share an English song. Then think: What is the song about? 【设计意图：通过复习日期的表述方式为本课涉及到的相关节日打下伏笔，英文歌曲的导入不仅拉近了师生距离，也为揭示本课的新授内容起到承上启下的作用。】

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Party: Today we are going to talk about parties. Let’s read the title. 2.

Before party, what are you going to do? 3.

So what are we going to do next? (Guess and ask) 4.

Wow, you are going to do so many things. I think you will have a good time at the party. 5.

Children’s Day party: There is a party. It is on the first of June. It is for the children. So what party is it?

Now we are going to share a Children’s Day party. Before sharing remember these questions. 7.

Step 4 Homework 1.Read and recite Cartoon time. 2.Tell the story in English to your family 3.Surf the Internet, try to know some names of party in Western countries.
