教学目标

(Teaching objectives) 1、语言知识目标

1)学生能听说认读重点单词farm,

easy,

interesting, policeman

2)学生能准确理解并熟练地运用“What do you do ? Where do you work ?Is your work

interesting ? I am …

”句型进行交流。

2、语言技能目标

1) 学生能通过课堂活动体验,在小组交流中学会口头表达用英语询问对方的职业,了解别人的职业,发展综合语言运用能力。

2)95%以上的学生能用简单的英语组织思维,能在具体的语境中听懂、说对、会读、会写本课重点词句。

3)90%以上的学生能用本节课的重点句型询问别人的职业情况和描述自己的朋友、家人的职业情况。

3、情感态度目标

1) 通过了解职业,让学生明白一分耕耘一分收获,各种职业都是受人尊重的。

2) 通过学习活动培养学生的参与意识、在实践中综合运用知识的意识和小组合作意识。在师评、自评与互评中,展现个性,增强自信,提高学生学习英语的积极性。

4、学习策略目标

1)学生通过观察、视听回答问题、交流互动、小组活动体验等方式进行学习,树立自主学习,自觉学习的意识和方法。

2)通过角色表演、英语小作文等语言实践活动,增强对所学英语的体验,形成正确的交际策略,提高用英语做事情的能力。

能灵活运用本节课学习的词汇和句型,结合实际生活询问别人的职业情况。

理解、区分on a farm和in the street的用法。

Step1: Warm-up 1.

Greeting.

Brainstorm.( Write down the jobs as you know ) Step2: Presentation 1.

Lead in. T: Good! You know so many jobs. Today I take a bag. There are many interesting things in it. Who wants to choose one ? (S1 chooses a tool)

T:What do you do ?

S1: I am a worker. T: Where do you work ? S1: I work in a factory. ( S2 chooses a towel )

Put the towel on his neck. T:What do you do ?

S2: I am a worker. T: Where do you work ? S2: I work on a farm. T: Is your work easy? S2: No, it isn’t.\ Yes, it is. 2.

Present the topic sentences on the blackboard .

( Draw a farmer on the blackboard )

a: Practise the patterns. b: ( S3 chooses a policeman’ cap )

Put on the cap. T:Are you a policeman ?

S3: Yes , I am . T: Where do you work ? S3: I work in the street. T: Is your work interesting ? S3: No, it isn’t.\ Yes, it is. ( Draw a policeman on the blackboard )

Act out. Step 4: Imagine your ideal job. Write a short composition.

Step 5 : Homework
