Analysis of teaching material and students :

The topic of this unit is about week. The key points of the lesson are to review the key contents and learn the story time of unit 2 . The students of Grade 5 will be interested in the story and be able to understand it. Meanwhile they would review the important contents while finishing the different tasks. Furthermore the students will have strong enthusiasm in learning English and desire to take part in the class . By studying the lesson, they will know more useful expressions in English. And it’s also good to make students know that the importance of arrangement and everything pre-then stands . I. Teaching Objectives: 1. Language objectives: 1) To review the key words ,phrases and sentences of unit 2. 2) To have the students recognize the words : need /want /enough. 3) To make the students understand the story . 2. Ability Objectives: 1).To make sentences and dialogues by using the key contents of unit 2.

2).To finish the different tasks. 3. Emotional Objectives : 1) To arouse the Ss’ enthusiasm in learning English.

2) To make the Ss know how to work together .

3) To have the students know the importance of arrangement . II.Teaching Foci:

1.To master the useful words , phrases and sentences . 2. To train the students’ abilities of listening, speaking and reading .

Generally speaking , the tasks of the objectives

have been completed well. The students have also done a good job while finishing the activities which I have designed in class. While some students are not confident and don’t like to take part in the activities. So there should be a lot of practice to make them more confident and braver in future.
