Children’s Day

Last Sunday was Children’s Day. I had a party at my home.Many guests came to my home. They arrived at my house at nine o’clock. My uncle gave me a parcel. I was very happy. After lunch my cousins and I watched cartoons. I have got a lot of cartoon discs on my CD-rack. After that we went to the

garden. We walked around a big tree and blew bubbles. We stopped playing when dinner was ready. We had a big meal. We all had a good time. Period 2

Jenny’s birthday

Yesterday was Jenny’s birthday. She had a party at home in the afternoon. All her friends were there. At about 5 pm, another two guests arrived at her house.

They were Jenny’s grandparents. They gave Jenny a parcel. There was a CD rack in it. Now Jenny could put all her discs in the rack.

What did the children do at the party? They sang the“

Happy Birthday”

song to Jenny, and Jenny blew out the candles on her birthday cake.

Then The children played the game of Musical Chairs. When the music started, they ran around the chairs. When the music stopped, everyone had to find a chair to sit on. Oh, there was no chair for Mingming. He was out of the game. They all had a great time! Period 3

Yang Mingming comes from China. His birthday is on Oct. 3rd. On his last birthday, his families ate noodles with him, because long noodles mean to live long in China. Peter comes from Russia. His birthday is on Oct. 6th. On his last birthday, he ate sweet pies with his families. On the pie, there were two words “Happy Birthday”. Lucas comes from Spain. His birthday is on Jan. 21st. On his last birthday, his family and friends pulled his ears to wish him a wonderful life. He cut the birthday cake and gave the first piece to the one he loves best, his mom. Alice comes from Denmark. Her birthday is on Dec. 16th. Alice’s family put presents around her bed at midnight before her birthday to give her a surprise in the morning. Alice also had a big party at home. She showed all the gifts to her family and friends and said how much she loved them.
