第二课时

教学目标：

New Vocabulary: living room, armchair, sofa （3 skills） ball, kite ,TV （4 skills）

Target Language:

Look at the living room.

There is a TV.

There are two sofas.

Learn to read and write the words and drills.

Learn to read and say the new dialogue.

Get along well with others. Enjoy English.

重点难点：

A. New vocabulary and target language.

B. Dialogue.

教法学法：

利用探究式教学法，培养学生的发散思维和创新能力。利用情景模仿以及角色表演等方法激励学生在生活情景中灵活运用功能语句。

教学准备：

PPT, some cards and a tape-recorder.

教学过程：

Step 1. Revision:

Review introduction and greetings.

To review the dialogue and words of Lesson One.

To make up sentences by using pattern: There’s…。

Step 2. Knowledge and drills:

1.

To learn to say the sentences: There are…。

E.g.: What’s in the living room?

There are three kites and a big clock on the wall.

To learn to say the dialogue.

Let the students listen to the tape recorder with their books closed. Then listen to the dialogue two times with their books open. Read after the tape recorder. Try to say this dialogue fluently.

Try to act out the dialogue.

To learn to say the words and to grasp the words: living room, armchair, sofa, ball, kite ,TV,

Step 3. Comprehension.

The students practice the dialogue in pairs and recite the new words in groups. Check pronunciation as the teacher walk around the classroom, listening, modeling and praising pairs. Ask several students to model the dialogue for the class.

【设计意图】：把本课中出现的新单词融入句型教学中，大量输入，做到词不离句，句不离篇，有助于学生对所学内容的理解，并能真实地感受到语言的交际功能。

Step 4. Applications:

Have a race. Let’s see who can make up more sentences by using the pattern: There’s… There are… in groups.

Step 5. Evaluations

Have students do the exercises on the EX. Book.

Homework：

必做：Listen, read and recite the dialogue and words.

Try to act out the dialogue in groups.

选做：Try to make up new dialogues.
