Step I 前检激学

预习内容：

1. 听录音，尝试模仿跟读课文3遍。

2. Complete the form and say. What language do they speak there? 1. Enjoy a movie of Australia 【设计意图】交流信息，初步感知了解澳大利亚。并由此引出本课核心国家。

T: T: Wow, it’s beautiful. I really like it. What country is this?

S: Australia. T: Bingo! I know Australia is the 6th biggest country in the world. Look, here’s a map of Australia.

Step II 定策学习

1. Watch the video and choose. T: Australia is a very beautiful country. There are lots of cute animals. Amy likes it. She will go there one day. Watch the video and choose.

Why does Amy like Australia? A. Because she loves Australian animals. B. Because she loves Australian people. Get the answer: A. Because she loves Australian animals. 2. Present: Why do you like Australia?

Because I love Australian animals. T: How do they talk about? Listen and try to say. Get the answer: Why do you like Australia?

Because… We often answer with a full sentence when we give a reason starting with “because”.

3. Present: kangaroo

koala T: Amy loves Australian animals. What animals are there in Australia? S: Kangaroos.

T: Kangaroos live in Australia. They jump on their back legs. The mother kangaroo has a special bag for her baby. They eat grass and leaves. (Unit 2的文本资料) Here’s a song for you. Try to sing.

One is Amy, one is Lingling. 【设计意图】本环节主要是帮助学生理解对话大意，呈现重点词句。学生带着问题，观看CD-ROM，首先解决本课第一组重点句，并由此递进引出关键的两种动物。并围绕考拉和袋鼠展开自由会话，引导学生结合新旧知识来学习新词。在逐个突破难点后，通过同伴合作自主学习课文最后一幅图片即本课第二组重点句。最终使学生对课文的理解逐渐加深。
