Analysis of the teaching material 1.

The title of this Unit is “ We love animals ”. The lesson is based on Unit 3 of Book for Grade 3 in Primary School. This Chapter mainly introduces the present tense, animals and different actions of different animals. It is the fourth third in this Unit, which is based on learning of the new words, reading passage and the grammar in this Unit. 2.

The third period serves as words revision and consolidation part. It focuses on leading the students to use the correct methods on listening and improve their listening skill. Besides, students will be able to use the oral English to introduce some animals/numbers of interest with the sentence patterns, such as “ What is it ?”

“It is a/an….”, which is related to their daily life, so it’s useful to raise the leaning interests of students. Part2 II

Analysis of Students

As Grade 3 students, they have curiosity about the new knowledge. English is attractive to them, so they will desire to learn it actively. The material is not that hard for them because they have learned some words and sentences related to this topic. However, the differences between good and poor students are obvious in students of this term, because they come from different areas, and we should plan the lesson with enough and extensive thinking. In addition, the students’

self-consciousness become stronger and stronger. They like to manifest themselves and also to lead the others, so we should plan the lesson with more active activities. Part3 III
