牛津 7B Unit 7 Abilities Comic strip and Welcome to the unit 一、教学内容简介：

本课选自《牛津英语》7BUnit 7 welcome to the unit。这一单元的主要内容是学习怎样帮助别人的一些说法.教材以图片的形式呈现出课文的内容，如plant trees，clean up the park，visit the people’s home等等。其中collect\ability为新词。

考虑到本校学生的能力和所授知识的完整性，我对教材内容做了适当的补充；在学习课本知识外另外再加入一篇有关帮助别人的文章，从而来扩充学生的阅读量。

二、教学目标：

1、知识目标: （1）理解、掌握本课中的新词： collect\ability.要求能听懂，会说，会认读。

（2）掌握本课中的词组: visit an old people’s home , give a seat to the old man，clean up the park，plant trees，collect things for the hope project，members of the helping hands club. 2、技能目标：能听懂并运用句型 What can we do for others. 3、情感目标：让学生在有趣的活动中体会课堂教学的乐趣，使学生愿学、爱学、乐学、积极地学。

三、教学重点：认读新词；理解、运用新句型及其回答；发言时发音正确，语音语调准确、流利、有感情。

四、教学难点：

1、单词collect\ability的识记。

2、句型what can you do for others?的灵活运用及回答。

教学设计思路：

初中七年级的英语教学在基本单词、短语掌握的基础上，更应注重的学生口语能力。所以我将教学环节设计成为活动形式，增加学生说的机会。这样，既让学生们在快乐的活动中理解语言、运用语言、习得语言，同时可以增加学生的参与度，从而提高学生的口语水平。

六、教学设计过程：

Step 1 Show teaching aims 1. To talk about different abilities(能力). 2. To learn to talk about the things we can do for others.

Step 2 Warming up Show some pictures then ask and answer. A: Who is he/she? B: He/She is …

A: What can he/she do? B: He/She can …

A: What is his/her ability? B: … is his/her ability. Step 3 Check the preview Show some new words. Let the Ss discuss these words to remember them, then let some Ss read them. Step 3 Comic strip 1. Present the comic strip. Listen to the tape and answer the questions/ 1. What does Eddie think of himself? He thinks he is Superdog. 2. Can he fly ? No, he can’t.

2. Read and answer What does Eddie think of himself? He thinks he is a Superdog. 3. Act out the dialogue Step 4 Pair work 1. Work in pairs. Discussion:What’s your ability?

We should use our abilities to help others? What can you do for others?

2. Talk about the pictures. 3. Finish Part A on page 81.

2. Look out, Eddie! 小心，埃迪！

这里look out单独成句，表示“当心，小心”，多用来提醒别人注意。如：

短语be able to意思是“能够”，相当于can， be able to可以有各种时态；而can只有一般现在和一般过去两种时态。 The child is not yet able to write. 这个孩子还不会写字。

He wanted me to pay for his ticket. 他想要我给他付票钱。

I can't pay for the books now. 这些书我现在不能付款。

本课的知识点不多，课堂上通过图片导入、小组操练等形式，学生对本课的单词、短语及基本句型有了比较深刻的印象。通过编对话，让学生在掌握本课重点、难点的基础上进行拓展，提高学生的学习英语的兴趣。
