Step1:Greeting: Morning,everyone! What day is it today? What’s the date? Step2:Presentation Show a photo to the students and say :This is a photo.He is my son.He was one year old.Was he happy?No,he was a little scared. Step3:Teach the word “photo”

Using the photo to teach the word “photo”,explain “ph”

pronounce /f/,“o” pronounces /eu/. Let the students say one by one. Step4:Listen and answer Show three pictures in Part1 to the students.Play the tape of Part1 ,answer the questions. (Picture1 ) What did Danny and Jenny do ?

Where were they? Where was the train leaving for (前往）？

Were they fun? (Picture2 ) Where was Danny? What happened to Danny? Was Danny happy? (Picture3 ) Where were they? Were they happy? Step5 Work in pairs Let the students work in pairs to talk about their photos.
