一、教材分析

本课是一年级起点五年级下英语Module 8 Unit 1的课文教学。课型为新授课。本模块要求学生掌握重点句型：Will you…?及回答：Yes, I will./No, I won’t.并且会用will的相关形式来表达意愿，通过句型的学习和操练，培养学生的语言运用能力及观察思维想象能力，同时，增强学生对英语学习的积极性，使其主动地学习英语。

【教学目标】

a.语言知识目标：学习目标语句

Will you ...? Yes, I will. / No, I won’t.

b.语言技能目标：能听懂课文大意，能运用will来询问某人是否打算做某事，并对其回答。

c.情感态度目标：通过多种形式，培养学生学习英语的兴趣，教育学生，亲人之间、朋友之间应该互相关爱，互相帮助，We will be happy forever! 【教学重点】

掌握 Will you help me? Of course I will.这些句子. 并能在实际情景中运用Will you ...? Yes, I will. /No, I won’t.

【教学难点】

正确使用Will及动词进行交流问答。 二、学生分析

五年级学生已经学了四年多的英语，有一定的听、说、读、写能力，英语学习习惯也基本形成。在以前的学习中，对本课的知识已经有过接触，教师要充分利用学生已有的知识，积极调动学生参与的积极性，从学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点，使学生“学以致用”。

三、设计理念

教师依据“学生能用英语做什么”的思想设计教学活动，从学生生活实际入手，将教学内容按照“由浅入深，由输入到输出”的原则设计学生感兴趣、乐于参与的教学活动。运用多种任务型教学法启发、引导学生进行合作、交流，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生综合运用能力。 四、教学准备: 课件、教学相关图片

I、Warmer and lead in (Please remember your points you get on class, then after class, add the points on the board.) a. Greetings: Class begins! Hello boys and girls. How are you? What’s the weather like today? Spring is coming, so the weather will be warmer and warmer. b. (Point to the picture) We can fly a kite in spring. Let’s say a chant, OK? I’ll give you music. Show me your hands, clap and say the chant together. （设计意图：通过配乐拍手说chant，激发学生的学习兴趣，营造出学习英语的氛围，同时chant内容与本课教学有着密切的关系，也为新知识的教学打下基础。）

c. I think, you will be happy this class. So, let’s work hard together! I’ll be happy this Sunday. Do you know ‘Why’? Because I’m going to visit my cousin on Sunday, it’s her birthday. Her name is Lucy. She likes spring very much. I want to take a present to her. Do you know ‘present’? (Show a picture of present on the board.) What present can I take? II、Presentation

1、So today let’s talk about m8u1，read the title together. (出示大明头像)Our friend, Daming needs some help. Let’s watch the cartoon. What does he need? （放录音，训练学生听力，同时帮助理解课文）

2、Now this time, listen and repeat. Try to answer some questions? (Show the questions) 1). What is Daming going to do？ He is going to visit his cousin in New York. (板书 visit/ cousin) What’s his cousin’s name? (板书 Simon). 2). What present will he take?

Who will give Daming some suggestions? (出示芳芳的头像) Will he take…? Yes, he will. /No, he won’t. (Show a picture of chopsticks) What about chopsticks? Will Daming take chopsticks? Why not? (出示新单词 Chinese, 简单讲解)。(根据黑板上的关键词复述课文第一段。) Any suggestions? What about a kite? (出示文中中国龙风筝图片，并板书)Good idea! I’ll make a kite. (板书重点句型)But, will it be windy in New York? I think so. It will be windy in New York. Daming will make this kite. He needs some help. (板书 Will you help me? Of course I will.) (根据黑板上的关键词复述课文第二、三段。) If you want to make a present for your friends and you need some help? You can ask and answer like this. (给学生一个例子) Now about it in pairs, and then show.(及时操练重点句型，学以致用。) At last, they made this kite. It’s a Chinese dragon. It will be a great present. Will Simon love this present? (设计意图：通过问题引导学生理解课文，并做及时操练，有利于学生快速掌握课文知识，并能学以致用。) 3、Now read it by yourself for one minute. Then talk about in your groups and show. 4、Look and retell. If you can’t, you can look at the words on the blackboard. (设计意图：通过小组合作选择喜欢的方式展示读文，培养合作意识，给学生展示的空间。用多种方式读文，并结合板书复述课文，帮助学生巩固知识。) III、Practice 1、Daming will make a kite for Simon. And Children’s Day is coming, Daming wants to write Children’s Day. But he doesn’t know ‘How to use will?’
