Unit 3 Animals

一、

教学目标：

1、

知识目标：能够听、说、读单词cat、dog、bird、monkey、tiger。并能用动作来表示这些动物。

2、

能力目标：能用”what’s this?

It’s a …”句子介绍物种小动物。

3、

情感目标：通过本节课学习，培养学生热爱小动物，保护大自然的情感。

二、

教学重难点：

教学重点：听懂并会说五个单词cat、dog、bird、monkey、tiger. 教学难点：会说并会用句子”What’s this?

It’s a …”. 三、

教具准备：word cards、animals headwear、video、pictures、toy. 四、

教学过程：

Step 1, Greeting and warm—up 1 、Greeting Hello, hello, how are you.

I’m fine, thank you. Good morning, boys and girls.

2、warm—up

Let’s sing a song-----Twinkle,twinkle,little star

Step 2, Leading in

This class I bring here a little “zoo”, there are some cute animals, Let’s make friends with them and learn how to call them in English. Step 3, Presentation 1、

T: Let’s guess, what’s in my “zoo box?”

Ss: cat、dog、bird、monkey、tiger. Teacher uses PPT to show animals pictures, and makes students to read them together. T: Please say hello or say good morning to these animals. 教师教读动物单词，边教边做动作。学生模仿。

2、Play small games ①Freeze ②Boom(Students shouldn’t read after teacher for which word has boom.)

3、”Train train train train, where to go”.教师让每个学生都有机会起来读单词。

Make a chant PPT show:Hello, cat, do oh do! Hello, dog, do oh do!

Hello, bird, do oh do! Hello, Hello, Hello. Hello, cat, do oh do! Hello, monkey, do oh do! Hello, tiger, do oh do! Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello! 5、

Teacher uses PPT to shows some animals who are half-covered.

T: Let’s see, these animals are half-covered by something. Do you want to know what are they?(从而引出新句型) -------What’s this ? -------It’s a cat/dog/bird/monkey/tiger.

Teacher uses word cards and points some students to answer questions. Teacher shows the PPT again. Teacher makes question and students answer some animals who are half-covered. 6、

Group work Divide the students into some groups and practice with each other by using the animals headwear. Then, teacher chooses some of them to show.

7、Play games------ Guess the words Step 4, Summary T: 同学们，小动物们今天都已经和我们玩了一天啦，它们也该回到动物园去了。

Now, let’s say goodbye to them. Ss: Goodbye monkey…

Step 5、Homework 给父母介绍已学过的小动物。

教学反思

在本课教学中仍有很多地方需要改进：

1、开头使用的热身歌谣可以使用“Hello”这首歌，以便在后面的教学中首尾呼应。

2、要考虑到学生年龄尚小，不能盯着某些发错音的孩子，要变换方式方法。

3、在教授句子时学生的答句练得太多，而对问句练得太少。

4、在完成每个游戏时，可让学生玩得彻底，练得扎实。
