Module 8 Unit 2 I often go swimming.

教学目标：

知识：1、

学习目标语句：I often go swimming..

掌握表达行为频率的单词：often,sometimes,always,never

3、能听懂句型I always swim on Sunday. I sometimes clean the blackboard. I never play football.这类说明行为频率的语句。

能力：1、通过使用频率副词讲述行为、习惯和喜好等。

2、能理解并会使用频度副词：sometimes,often,always,never.

懂得这些频率副词在句中的位置、区别、用法及所在句子

中的时态。

情感：培养学生积极参与合作学习的意识。

教学重难点：

1、掌握单词often,sometimes,always,never 2、通过使用频率副词（always ,sometimes,often,never）讲述行为、习惯和喜好等，并在小组合作中使用这类句型来进行描述。

教学准备：

Words cards, CD-Rom, ppt

教学过程：

Step 1: Greeting. 1.

Say “hello”to the students. 2.

Have a free talk with some students. Use the sentence “What did you do yesterday/last week?” as a start. The students may answer “I went to the park.”or something else, so I can ask “

Do you often...?” Have this kind of conversation with several students(Use the word “often”.) Step 2: Presentation 1.

After finish the conversations, I can say “ Just now, we talked about a

lot about the word “often”, and today, I want to show three good friends of the word “often” to you. They are: always, sometimes and never.”

2.Show the ppt and pictures. Explain the differences among the four words. 3.Learn the words.(with some sentences for examples) 4.Learn the chant. ( Part 1,Page 47,Text Book) 5.Play the game “

Pick and say”. Prepare a box with a lot of pictures about food, sports,subjects, instruments,hobbies and colors and so on.

Ask some students to pick a picture and say something about their reality. Use the words “often,always, sometimes and never.”

Suggestions about the conversations: T: Pick a picture,please. S1: Bread. T: Wow. Say something about it. S1: I often eat Bread. T: Why? S1: Because I like it very much. It’s very delicious. Step 3: Text learning 1.

Listen to the tape. 2.

Game: make funny sentences. Give some pictures to each group, the group should choose some words to make a sentence. The sentence may be very funny. For example, Tom and Mary often have breakfast in the toilet. Step 4: Task 1.

Work in pairs. Talk about yourselves with your partners.Make conversations. Suggestions: I always.... Because I like it. Do you often....? What do you often do? ... 2.
