本课是 Module 1 Unit 2的一节新知教学课。本课由课文第六页一首欢快的chant引入，让孩子在欣赏这首chant 的同时注意捕捉里面所包含的形容词，并由此发散孩子们的思维，让他们说出更多的形容词，最大程度地调动孩子们的知识储备，较好地起到复习引新的作用。新知呈现环节，我设计了一个猜人游戏，有孩子们身边所熟知的人自然而然地引入新课课文，孩子们兴趣浓厚。此外，在教授 Maths一词时也有适当的拓展和运用，让孩子们尽可能多的开口说英语。在课文学习环节，让孩子们带着问题听、读课文效果较好，特别是让他们运用所学句型 What _____plus ____? It’s ________.相互出题问答的活动，让绝大多数孩子都有开口说英语的机会，让教学面向全体学生，让孩子们都能把所学知识运用到实际生活中。
