Unit5需要学习三个课时。第一课时教学栏目是Listen and say, Look and learn, Make and say；第二课时教学栏目是Read a story；第三课时教学栏目是

Listen and enjoy, Learn the sounds.

本课是第二课时，主要学习内容是：Read a story，呈现了《鲁班与锯子》的经典民间故事，鲁班手指被草叶割伤，由此受到启发而发明了锯子。故事用一般过去式叙述，语言丰富。核心句型A long time ago, there was a craftsman. His name was Lu Ban.

学情

分析

六年级学生已经了解过去时，教学时可帮助学生复习一般过去式时，尤其关注不规则变化的动词，如cut，made。saw, tool, easily, still是新授词汇，结合具体的语境和图片让学生感知其含义。
