Lesson 8 First, Second, Third 冀教版英语（三年级起点）四年级下册

教学目标：

1、学生能听懂、会说和认读这些序数词：first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth。

2、学生能识别、理解并根据正确的顺序排列第一到第十二月份。

3、学生通过自己的观察、思考并与同伴讨论，总结出1-12基数词变序数词的规律。

4、通过唱歌谣、同伴合作、学生互相鼓励、教师鼓励等方式，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学习英语的自信心。

教学重点：

学生能听懂、会说和认读这些序数词：first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth。

教学难点：

1、学生能识别序数词第1-12，并能总结1-12基数词变序数词的规律。

2、学生能识别、理解并根据正确的顺序排列第一到第十二月份。

教学准备：

教师：PPT，十二生肖头饰。

学生：铅笔，尺子，12个月份的英文表达。

教学过程: Step1.Warming-up(热身运动) 1、Greeting（师生相互问好）

2、Let’s chant！复习月份。

Step2. Lead-in（导入）

教师用过渡性的话语引出课题。

Step3. New concepts 1、Guide students to look at the picture and answer the following questions.(课件出示课本第20页第1部分图片，引导学生学习单词first, second, third) a. What’s this? b. What can you see in this picture? c. What are they doing? d. Who is winning the running race? What about the girl? What place is she in the race? Look at the boy in red shorts. What place is he in the race? 讲解单词in。

2、观察fourth,让学生猜读。教师提示th的发音，让学生读。用同样的方法教第五至第十二并简单说明基数词和序数词的区别。

3、讨论将基数词变为序数词的规律。同伴讨论，指名说规律，教师补充并做总结。

Step4. Let’s do it! 1、学生完成课本第21页第二部分连线。

2、检查学生连线并说出句子。

学生口头说出十二生肖名称，然后带上十二生肖头饰，引导学生分别说Rat is the first. Ox is the second. Tiger is the third. Rabbit is the fourth. Dragon is the fifth. Snake is the sixth. Horse is the seventh. Sheep is the eighth.
