Teaching aims: At the end of this period, students are expected to :

1.understand the ways to make a business presentation clear and convincing:

compare and present detailed information. 2.write a short passage to explore the use of VR in classroom teaching by using the expressions and skills learnt in this period. 3.stimulate their curiosity to explore the usages of VR or other latest technology in daily life.

Analysis of reading material: This is the second period of the reading passage. In the previous one, Ss finished reading the contents. The main aim of this period is to help students understand the contents of reading strategy and apply what they have learned to writing. Teaching procedure: Step1:Brain storm Ask students a question “What will our life be like in 2049 ?”, to inspire students to think about future life. Let students have a free talk.

Then show some pictures about the future life from three aspects: communicate, traffic and education. Step2:Leading in After discuss the pictures,show the opinions:With the development of technology, our life will become more interesting and convenient. Then ask students “Do you want to have visit to the future life?”

Show a video of a VR theme park. Then tell students the Realcine company invite us to experience the VR park. The company now have a business presentation.
