Step 1 Chant Basketball, basketball, I have a basketball. Soccer ball, soccer ball, I have a soccer ball. Volleyball, volleyball, I have a vollyball. Ping-pong bat, ping-pong bat, I have a ping-pong bat. Tennis ball, tennis ball, I have a tennis ball. Step 2 Presentation
1.Review words and sentences 1. Show a picture of a room and have a free talk with the students.
T: This is my room. Can you guess what’s in my room. I can give you a little tip. This is my sports room. S: Balls. They are balls. Then we will check these balls together. While showing these balls, we will review the sentence pattern. Do you have a/an … Yes, I do. I have a/an …

2.Then ask students to make dialogues and act them out in front of the blackboard. ( We will use the wheel of fortune to act these conversations out.) 3.
Show students the exciting moments of different kinds of sports. Then tell them that, “As a student, we should enjoy sports and enjoy our life. We should be our own champions”.

Game. Show some cards to the students. There are some pictures and words on these cards.
I will ask some students to pick out one card. The student should read the word out and make a sentence. For example, basketball. I have a basketball. Then another student retell the sentence and make a conversation like this. Does he/she have a basketball ? Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.
5.
Make their own dialogue. Remember these things in Bob’s room. Then ask and answer in pairs using “Does Bob have … Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t.
Step 3. Summary
1. The usage of “have” and “has”
1)第一人称、第二人称单复数,以及第三人称复数作主语时,用have。I, we, you, they, my friends, Tom and Kate,etc. 2)第三人称单数作主语时,用has。

2. The usage of “do” and “does”
1) 第一人称、第二人称单复数,以及第三人称复数作主语时,用don’t构成否定句、do构成一般疑问句,回答也用do和don’t. 2) 第三人称单数作主语时,用doesn’t构成否定句、does构成一般疑问句,回答也用does和doesn’t。
