Unit5 A party(Story time)

一、课时目标：

1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词: clown, appear, begin 2.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型：What are you going to bring to the party? I’m going to bring some toys. Are we going to eat or play with the toys first?

3.通过课文重点语言知识点的学习，能理解课文内容，能自然流畅地复述课文内容。

二、教学重难点：

1.正确掌握，灵活运用将来时句型表达于真实情景中。

2.能理解，正确朗读，表演Story time,并能自编类似情景。

3.通过课文重点语言知识点的学习，能理解课文内容，能自然流畅地复述课文。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up 1.

Enjoy a song “will you join me?” and answer the question’ What are they going to do at the weekend?’

Free talk T: They are going to have a picnic, see a play and have a concert. They’re planning for their weekend. What are we doing now?

Ss: We are having an English lesson. T: What lesson are we going to have?

Yes, we are going to learn Unit5. What topic are we going to talk about? Ss: We are going to talk about ‘A party’. (导入本课话题) Step 2 Pre-reading 1.Enjoy and learn

T: I’m going to show you some pictures of some parties. 1. Children’s Day Party

2. Christmas Party(教学balloon) 3. Tina’s Birthday Party(教学clown) 2.Practice T: If you are going to have a party, what are you going to prepare before the party?

Ss:…引导学生练习句型I’m going to bring/buy…

T: What are you going to do at the party? Ss: I’m going to… (sing, dance, play…) Step3 While-reading 1.

Watch and choose T: In the story, some children are going to have a party? Let’s enjoy a cartoon about it. But I have some questions for you. Q1: What party are they going to have?

Q2: Who is going to have the party? Let’s watch and choose the right answers. 2.

Listen and judge(T or F) T: Can you ask some questions about the party? Just like this. S1: When’s the party? S2:Where’s the party? T:Good questions. Let’s listen to the tape and do the judge. 3. Read and match(仔细阅读课文的第二段，完成连线，并在文中找到关键语句) A. Check out the answers. B. What is Liu Tao going to bring to the party? Can we know the answer here? Well, let’s look at some pictures and try to find out the answers there.
