学习材料分析：

本课教学主题及具体内容是教师带孩子们参观动物园情景下孩子们描述动物特征。本节课重难点是能够在图片或情景的帮助下,运用句型”It has...”描述动物特征并听懂别人的描述。

通过本单元前四课时的学习和先前知识回顾，学生已经学会了用fat, thin, tall, short四个形容词和”It’s so…”描述动物的整体特征。本节课的教学是对前面所学知识进行综合，提升，巩固和扩展。

英语课程提倡采用既强调语言学习过程又有利于提高学生学习成效的语言教学途径和方法，尽可能多地为学生创造在真实语境中运用语言的机会，鼓励学生在老师的指导下，通过体验，实践，参与，探究和合作等方式，发现语言规律，逐步掌握语言知识和技能。因此，在本课的教学中从孩子已有知识出发，通过图片，歌谣，肢体语言，遵循学生的认知规律，采用循序渐进地语言实践性教学活动。如：恰当选用big/small, long/short两组形容词和句型谈论看到的动物。并通过故事Mr. Long’s friend.融会贯通地运用语言。

学生情况分析：

从三年级起开设英语课堂，刚接触英语才半年，

三年级学生的年龄在九到十岁左右, 生性活泼好动, 喜欢直观形

象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。学生学英语不久,有可能说的不好,有的还不敢说, 课堂上要以表扬为主,注重培养学习英语

的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!该年级学生有着极强的求知欲强和表现欲。

根据学生的心理特点

我课上多以表扬为主, 注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养, 鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说、

唱唱中学习英语。但这个年纪的学生毕竟接触正规英语教材的时间不是很长, 只有半年，在学习方法和学习策略上还有很大差距,尤其在答题技巧和技能方面还缺少锻炼。

除以上所说的几种情况之外, 三年级个别学生还存在顽劣和懒惰向,上课爱搞小动作、课下作业完成不及时的坏毛病,学习效率也较差。

针对这种情况我采取趣味教学的模式课上多为学生创设习得语言的环境, 尽最大努力吸引学生的注意力以便更有效地激发他们的学

习兴趣,而且课下我经常找机会和他们聊天、交朋友,帮助他们转变

厌学思想。

另外我还鼓励各班中英语学习较好的同学主动帮这些学困生提高成绩。总之, 我所教年级的学生现在对英语的学习热情较高, 这令我感到很欣慰。

在以后的日子里我将断续和我的学生一起奋斗, 帮助他们

争取更大的进步。
