Teaching aims: Knowledge aim: students are able to listen, read and speak the new words: bag, pen, pencil box and book. Ability aim: students are able to do the action under the instruction of the teacher. Emotional aim: students’ interests in English learning can be highly enhanced. Teaching key & difficult points: Teaching key points: students interests in English learning can be highly enhanced. Teaching difficult points: students are able to do the actions under the teachers’ instruction

Teaching aids: multi-media, cards. Teaching procedure Step1. Warming-up 1、sing the “ABC song” to review the letters.

2、play a “matching game” to review the words they have learnt last class, such as: ruler, pencil and eraser. Step2. presentation 1.The teacher will mainly use four pictures and objects to introduce the new words: bag, pen, pencil, pencil box and book. 2.To find some students to read the words one by one. 3.To play a matching game to help remember the new words. Step3. Practice & consolidation

1. Students are required to do the action under the teachers’ instructions using the new words according to “Let’s do”.

2.Students will be divided into two groups from the middle to compete. Each group will have an apple tree. The winner group will have more apples. Step4. Summary & homework Summary: the students will summarize what they have learnt in this class with the teacher.
