教学目标：

知识目标：1、能听懂、会说和会读单词、词组dream， astronaut，spaceship，dancer，pianist，care about，football player，come true. 2、能运用所学词汇以及句型What do you want to be in the future？I want to be…表达个人理想。

能力目标：1、能正确朗读、理解story time的内容和主旨

2、能结合句型简单交流自己的梦想 情感目标：通过学习引导学生树立正确的价值观，培养为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗的意识。

教学重难点：

重点：

能听懂、会说、会读和会写单词dream，future和句子What do you want to be in the future？I want to be…及单词pianist、astronaut的读音。

难点：能正确朗读、理解story time，并能运用所学有关职业类单词和句型What do you want to be in the future？I want to be…谈论梦想。

教学准备：

PPT，词卡，句条，人物头像

教学过程：

课前交流：Hello, boys and girls! Today I’m your new teacher. Do you want to know something about me？You can ask me some questions.

PPT呈现课文人物）Who are they？

T: Do you want to know their dreams？What can you ask them? S: What are your dreams? What do you want to be in the future？

3. Listen and circle the words about the dreams on the exercise paper. 4. Read and discuss, 明确小组合作要求，同伴学习

dancer(What's the dancer good at?) writer(What's the writer good at?) football player（He's a football player. What about姚明? 引导学生说basketball player）

dentist(The dentist can help us with our teeth) pianist（Who's the famous pianist in China? 引导Lang lang is.）, astronaut（Do you know the astronauts in China? ppt呈现几个中国航天员）.注意这两个单词的重读及an astronaut的连读。

You know these are the children's dream jobs. But who wants to be a dancer, who wants to be a writer, and so on. Try to guess. OK? 师板书学生猜测。

First, look at the boys', What is Mike's dream? (男生采用师问生答形式) PPT出示一个人物，生就用…wants to be…，I think.进行描述。

T: Good. How about the girls' dreams? Can you say sth?(放手女生，采用生问生答或形式) 7．

Watch and match. PPT：They have these dreams? First, let's know about the boys’ reasons. Please watch and match.
