Teacher:Is/Are the book/books on the desk? Students:Yes,it is/they are. No,it isn't/they aren't. Step 2呈现与输入(Presentation) First,ask students read the sentences in Grammar Focus and invite some students to explain them. Then teacher takes out some school things and put them in a place that all the students can see them.Students make conversations like this: —Where's /Where're …?

Look at the pictures and students describe them in pairs.Then talk the things and make sure their positions in whole class.Read these conversation and complete them.Finally,teacher invites some pairs to read their answers. Step 3练习与体验(Practice) First,ask students to look at the pictures. T:What can you see in the pictures? Invite students to answer the question. Then put students into pairs to make conversations like this: S1:Where are the books? S2:They are on the sofa. S1:Where's the pencil? S2:It's in the pencil-case. Finally,invite some pairs to present their conversations to check their progress.
