Brainstorm

Look at the pictures about science and try to guess the names of subjects. This activity will help students to review the subjects and prepare for the next step. Game time.

Students try to speak out the meanings of the adjectives on the screen and then classify the words into positive and negative ones. Ask and answer.

Teacher set an example for students by using the following sentence patterns:

Then students work in pairs and practice the dialogue.

This activity can make students practice the object sentence pattern and express his or her favorite things. Review days of a week Fill in the blanks by using the week days. Show the class schedule to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: This is Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday .We have math at 8：05 A.M. on Monday．We have art at 3：00 P.M on Tuesday．We are very busy from Monday to Friday. But we are free on Saturday and Sunday. Ask students the question: What's your favorite teacher/ food/ subject/ singer...? Why? Why not? Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.
