Textbook This period mainly talks about school schedule so students need to learn the analysis words of the days and ask and answer when the subjects are. Students should also review the words about subjects and adjectives to talk about their favorite subjects and give the reason. What’s more, students are supposed to master listening and speaking skills. After the lesson, students should put great importance on managing time. Analysis of the students The students have learned some words about subjects and adjectives so this period can enlarge the vocabulary on this topic. Besides, this topic is related to the school schedule. Students must show great interest on discussing it and making their own schedules. Knowledge objectives Ability objectives 1.

Activity Let students watch a teaching video and then do some exercises before class. Welcome a new friend, Jamie from Forest School in England.

Have students review words about subjects and learn new words of days by a competition. Purpose Students can learn by themselves and get familiar with the period quickly.

Let Jamie guide students to learn the period and students will show more interest on this topic. And competition will make students pay full attention to the class quickly.

Task 3 David’s school schedule After revision, it is time to learn something new in the period- schedule.
