imagine what will/ would happen if... 它所引导的从句，表示“主观设想的情况。”有时动词要用虚拟语气。

Suppose you fall and hurt yourself when you’re out alone in the mountain? 假设当你独自在群山中摔倒受伤了怎么办？

另外，suppose, supposing 用作连接词，

还可以用来提出建议，表示….. 怎么样“？

though, although 等引导状语从句，从句的主语

和主句的主语一致，并且从句谓语动词含有be动词，

则省略从句的主语和be动词。
