Teaching aims: 1. Cognitive aims:
能听懂会说以下单词和短语:life /polar bear /arctic hare/ lake/ hill /top /across catch a hare , jump in the water, swim across a lake , walk through the snow , run up the hill,come to the top,come to a stop, look around能听懂会说句型:What’s he doing over there?What’s not there?
能借助图片听懂会说歌谣The polar bear 能借助提示复述歌谣内容
2. Ability aims:
通过讨论活动启发学生的表达欲望,锻炼口头表达能力。
3. Emotional and culture aims:

了解一些北极动物的生活情况。
(2)
用chant ,mime action等多种活动形式,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

2. Presentation
a. Lead the topic: The polar bear
Look, my favourite animal is the polar bears. It’s very lovely,right? Can you guess what’s their favourite food? They like eating seals and hares. Today, we will learn something about a polar bear. b. Look and guess: Look at the picture and try to answer the questions.

A polar bear and a hare.
