Lead-in Watch a video about Shanghai, talk with students about it . Ask what they think of

Shanghai. Induce key sentences “I want to go to Shanghai. Do you want to....? ”Then students make similar dialogues with key sentences and act out the dialogues. Step3 Activity1

Teacher says “From last lesson,we know that Daming and Simon visit the UN building, after that where they want to go? Let’s have a look”. Let students watch the cartoon,then answer question.The whole class read together. Step 4 Activity 2

Show students the picture of the Smart, let them observe the picture to get the main idea of the dialogue, then with the questions students watch the cartoon.After watching,answer the question.Then students practice in groups and act out dialogue. Next , finish the excise on the given paper .After finishing,let students retell the text according the excise to make the Smarts’ travel plan. Step 5 Writing

Copy the Smarts’

travel plan,write their own travel plan. Last share their plan with the whole class.
