本课教材为外研社《英语》(新标准)(三年级起点)五年级下册Module9 Unit 1We laughed a lot. 本课的功能是谈论过去发生的事情。课文情境是Daming收到了Lingling从英国寄来的信,信里介绍了Lingling 上周去儿童剧院看戏的事。Lingling说演员们有的女扮男装,有的男扮女装,他们讲了很多笑话,把孩子们逗得哈哈大笑。之后,Lingling和朋友们一起去餐厅吃了汉堡包和薯条。最后,Lingling问Daming是否已经为美国之行做好了准备。本课为新授课,用1课时来完成。

二、学情分析

五年级的学生已经掌握了许多单词和语法,学生对一般过去时在四年级下册以及五年级上册已经接触并学习过,所以本课既是一节新授课,也是一节巩固拓展课,本课重点是来谈论过去发生的事情,过去式不规则变化的动词是重点复习内容,所以,在教学过程中,需要教师精心设计教学活动,采用各种激励手段,引导学生在教师营造的英语环境中大胆地学习和使用英语,以提高综合运用语言的能力。同时,在教学中教师应该更关注后进生,给他们更多的机会表现自己,激发他们的学习积极性,让所有学生自然地同步前进,并为接下去的学习打好基础。

三、教学目标

1、语言技能

⑴全体学生能听懂“We laughed a lot.”

⑵全体学生能说:“We laughed a lot”

⑶全体学生能朗读课文,阅读相关短文。

⑷全体学生能按要求完成语句书写。

2、语言知识

⑴全体学生能够运用语句: “We laughed a lot”谈论过去发生的事情。

⑵全体学生能理解词汇:laugh, wore, letter, theater, women, actor, told, joke, after, show ,restaurant ,ready.

全体学生能运用词汇wore, women, told ,after.

部分学生能运用词汇laugh, letter , theater ,actor ,joke ,show ,restaurant ,ready.

⑶能感知字母和字母组合的读音。

3、情感态度

遇到困难时能大胆求助。

4、学习策略

对所学内容能主动复习和归纳。

5、文化意识

在学习和日常交际中,能进一步注意到中外文化异同。

六、教学过程:

(一)热身导入Warm -up and lead-in(5分钟)

1、Greetings:Hello ,boys and girls. How are you?

2、Free talk : Talk about the activities of last weekend.

(1) Boys and girls, did you have a nice weekend?

Where did you go?

What did you see ?

(2) 学生谈论上周末活动。

3. Lead-in, then watch the CD-ROM and learn to say the chant in Activity 1.

T: (To show the picture in Activity 1 with PPT.) Look! Lingling ,Sam and Amy saw lots of interesting things .Where did they see ? Let’s wa tch the CD-ROM.

1)播放录音、整体感知。

2)让学生打开教材,逐句跟读,并利用单词卡片教授新单词wore.

3)整体跟录音读一遍。

(二)任务呈现Task Presentation(1分钟)

Show the task of this lesson with PPT.

Today we will talk about something in the past.

After class, we can talk about a experience of you with the simple past tense.

Now let’s learn Module 9Unit 1 We laughed a lot.

(三)课文学习Text learning(18分钟)

1、Watch the CD-ROM and answer the question

让学生带着问题Who laughed a lot?整体感知课文。

T:Last week Lingling wrote a letter to Daming and told Daming what she did last week.Now let’s look at the letter. And think about a question : Who laughed a lot?

【设计意图】带着问题观看课文动画,让学生有目的地看,锻炼学生获取重要信息的能力,初步了解课文内容感知其语意,为下一步课文学习奠定基础。

2. Read the dialogue by themselves and find out the answers to the five questions. Then talk about the answers in groups.

(1).Where did they go last week?

(2)What did they see?

(3) What did they eat?

After reading the questions, I’ll get them to read the text by themselves, then talk about the answers in groups.

解决阅读中的问题,既能培养学生自主阅读能力,同时这个过程能够让组内学困生得到学

优生的帮助,对提高他们的自信心起到很好的作用。同时,也是学生在小组内感知、理解和自主学习新词汇及核心语句的过程。

3.Say the answers and learn to say the new words and sentences with the help of PPT.

The new words to learn: laugh, wore, letter, theater, women, actor, told, joke, after, show ,restaurant ,ready.

The new sentences to learn: We went to a children’s theatre. The actors told lots of jokes. We laughed a lot.

At the same time, write down the sentences on the blackboard.
