1. Just talk

本部分通过设置Kate继续在Li Yan家参观的真实场景,引出要学习的目标语言There is ...There are ...等语句,询问或叙述某处有什么东西。教师可以运用听录音、图片展示、情景模仿以及角色表演等方法激励学生感知、模仿、学习和体验,最终引导学生能够在生活情景中运用这些功能语句进行交际,并培养学生之间友好相处、团结友爱的好品质。

主要目标语言:

Look at the living room.

There is a TV. There are two sofas.

2. Just read and write

本部分用图文对照的形式呈现新词语,要求学生能够听、说、认读living room, armchair, sofa和TV,能够听、说、读、写TV, ball, kite,并能在四线格中规范书写;进一步巩固询问及表达某处有什么东西的功能句:There is ...和There are ...,并把词汇融入句子中进行学习、操练。

3. Let’s chant

本部分设计了一个歌谣活动,让学生进一步巩固本课主要目标语There is ...和There are ...和相关词汇,同时提高学习英语的兴趣。

三、教学步骤与建议

Step1. 热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

1) Greetings.

2) 介绍Li Yan的卧室。

教师出示第一课的主题图,引导学生用There is a ... /There are ...进行描述。

例如:There is a bed in Li Yan’s bedroom.There is......

Step2. 新课呈现(Presentation)

1) 学习living room。在谈论完卧室之后,更换成一幅客厅的图片,引导学生思考:Is this a bedroom, too? No.it isn’t.What is it? It’s a living room. A living room.教师顺势板书,带领学生学习living room一词。

2) 教师通过What’s in the living room?问题,引导学生用There be ...句型描述客厅。学习There is a ... /There are ...的区别以及本课几个新词汇。

例如:T: What’s in the living room?

Ss: There is a TV/ a sofa/ an armchair...

T: Look! This is a sofa. And that’s a sofa, too. So we should say, there are two sofas in the living room.

Ss: There are four balloons/ three kites...

教师板书主要功能句和单词。

3)Read and write

听录音,跟读,巩固前面所学的单词和句型。

4)Let’s talk:Listen and number:听录音,排序。

5)Let’s talk:What’s in Li Yan’s living room?观看动画,回答问题。

6)Let’s talk教读句子,注意攻破每个句子。争取每个学生都会认读。

7)Role-play:分角色表演课文对话。

8)Practice:Choose the right answers fill in the blanks.
