Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing

（一）教材分析

1. 单元及课文分析

本单元的句型主要是围绕着Li Ming一行人去北京的所见所闻而编排。这一课的内容是现在进行时态人称的复数句型。是对第一单元所学的现在进行时态的继续和深入。对于五年级的学生来说，难度将继续提升，所以在帮助学生理解的同时，教师应采取结合学生现实生活中的活动，让学生能发散思维，将所学知识与实际生活相结合，不断巩固、进步。

2. 教学重点

学习复数名词的不规则变化，巩固和扩充学生的词汇，复习现在进行时。

3. 教学难点

（1）正确使用主语为复数的现在进行时态。

（2）名词复数的不规则变化的应用。

（二）教学目标

知识与技能目标

1.会听说读写词汇：people、many、 child、 children、 women、

men 2.会使用现在进行时态和名词的复数形式表达。

3.学生能认读、理解并运用下列句型：

They are on their way to...... There are many...... 情感态度和价值观

1.通过创设情境，帮助学生更好地理解词汇和文本，引导学生在现实情境中大胆说英语

2.通过小组练习等方式激发学生的学习兴趣，加强学生的合作意识。 过程与方法目标

贯穿于课堂教学始终的形成性评价包含了自我评价和他人评价，有利于学生发展调控策略，形成自主学习能力。

（三）．教学步骤

Step 1 Class Opening Review. T: We all know that Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs.li are going to Beijing. Who can still remember how do they

go to Beijing? (S: By train.) Great! What are they doing on the train? What’s Jenny doing? What’s Danny doing? Who’s Danny talking to? What’s the baby doing? Who’s singing? Now please stand up. Let’s sing a song together. [设计思路：引导学生先回想起李明,Danny,Jenny和李女士在去北京的火车上。再提问大家都在火车上干什么？从而复习：woman,man等单词，为接下来的woman ,man 转变复数做铺垫。最后提问What’s the woman doing?学生回答：The woman is singing.让学生们站起来，一起唱Who’s singing 这首歌。] Step 2 New Concepts 1.They have a very great trip. Today they finally arrive in Beijing. Let’s start to learn lesson 7 –Arriving in Beijing. 2.I have two questions for you .After listening to the videotape,students should answer these questions.

①When do they arrive in Beijing? ②Where are they going? Then ask them ‘How do they go to the hotel?’

T:Now they are on their way to the hotel.What do they see on their way to the hotel? [设计思路：由两个问题：①他们什么时候到达北京？②他们现在正在去哪？引导学生回答李明一行人正在去酒店的路上。我再提出问题：他们在去酒店的路上看到了什么呢？让学生练习They see…… on their way to the hotel.] 3.T:They are passing a beautiful park.Look,there’s a girl and many boys.What are they doing?(图片1.play the videotape) T: Who’s flying a kite? Students may answer ‘ A girl is flying a kite.’(Teach them :girl,boy=child. ) T: She is a girl. She is a child , too. He is a boy. He is a child, too. Understand? Who is a child in our classroom? After teaching ‘child’, ask ‘Who’s playing football?’Play the videotape again. S:Some boys are playing football. T:Excellent!Boys and girls are children.We can

say :Some children are playing football. [设计思路：通过提问谁在放风筝这一问题，学生会回答一个女孩在放风筝，引出child。并且教授学生child既可以描述男孩也可以描述女孩。接着提出另一个问题：谁在踢足球？再放录音，让学生着重听children这一单词。当学生回答Some boys are playing football时，给予肯定表扬，再引导出Boys and girls are children。] 4. T:What about them? Who’s singing? Who’s dancing? T:What about these people? Who’s running? Who’s doing Tai Chi?

(PPT展示第二和第三幅图，过程与第一幅图一样。) 5.Let’s sing a song. [设计思路：改编第三课出现的Who’s singing这首歌，将本节课所学的名词复数套用进去，不仅巩固了所学名词复数形式，也能让学生们更积极地参与。] 6.Read the text [设计思路：引导学生有感情的朗读文本，注意升调降调以及断句。] 7. Work in pairs. PPT: a picture of a park T： What are the other people doing?

Who is......? [设计思路：当学生可以流利朗读文本时，巩固拓展，展示一幅公园的图片，里面有很多人在干不同的事情，让学生进行小组练习，S1：Who’s

……? S2:A/Some ……

让学生能够谈论一些在公园里还能干的事情。] 8.Finish P21,part 2 Look and match. 9.Let’s talk 展示一张公园的图片，里面有很多人在干不同的事情（跑步、骑单车、画画、跳舞……）此时，学生应练习段落输出。讨论：

How’s the weather? What’s in the park? What are the other people doing in the park? 10. Class closing T: Tomorrow Li Ming , Jenny ,Danny and Mrs.li will go sightseeing in Beijing. What do you know about Beijing? If you are Li Ming , where will you go? Why?

Homework Draw a picture of a park. Write about the park. ( How’s the weather?
