一、学情分析

四年级的学生经过了一年多的英语学习，对英语的好奇心和兴趣开始逐步从起步时的会读会说几个单词向会说会用的阶段转变。大部分学生对英语有着浓厚的兴趣，渴望获得更多的知识，本课在继续培养学生学习兴趣和听说能力的同时，采用符合学生心理特点的教学方法和教学手段，坚持听说领先，有计划地培养学生的读写能力，特别对于个别学习上有困难的学生，教师要耐心采取积极鼓励的方法，创设生动活泼的课堂气氛，调动他们的学习积极性。

二、教材分析

本课重点学习十二个月份单词的写法，由于这些单词都比较长，难记忆，我设计了歌谣、游戏、讨论交流等活动让学生通过操练掌握十二个月份单词，让学生在玩中学，乐中记。

三、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1、能够听、说、读、写十二个月份的单词。

2、能够识记十二个月份单词的缩写形式。

3、能够运用What’s your favourite month?和

Whose birthday is in ...?进行对话练习。

（二）能力目标

通过对12个月份单词的学习，学会询问他人的生日月份，并能回答自己的生日月份。

（三）情感态度目标

通过学习，培养学生自主学习与团结合作的精神，激起学生学习英语的兴趣。

四、教学重难点

重点：

1、掌握十二个月份的单词读音和缩写形式。

2、掌握句型What’s your favourite month?和

Whose birthday is in ...? 难点：十二个月份的单词拼写。

五、教学准备

多媒体课件、日历、12个月份的单词卡片。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, teacher. T: How are you today?

S: I’m fine, thanks. And you? T: I’m very well, thank you. Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Are you ready for our English class？

S: Yes. T: I’m glad to hear that. Now let’s start our English class.

设计意图：通过学生熟悉的问候语与学生进行交流，帮助学生寻找语感，尽快进入英语课堂。

Step 2 Leading in T: Now, look! There is a calender in my hand. What does the calender mean?

S:日历. T: Yes,it means “日历”. What can you see in calender?

S:日期、月份... T: Do you know how to express “月份” in English?

S: ... T: It’s month. Please read after me! S: month... T: Do you know how many months are there in a year?

S: Twelve. T: Yes, there are twelve months in a year. Look, these are the twelve

months of the year. 设计意图：运用日历导入月份，形象直观。

Step 3 Presentation 1.New words. (1)The teacher takes out the word cards and shows them to class. Lead all students to read the word on the card. 一月January是新年，二月February冬过完，

三月March是春天，四月April天转暖，

五月May百花艳，六月June是夏天，

七月July去海边，八月August暑假完，

九月September新学年，十月October百果甜，

十一月November秋过完，十二月December天渐寒。

设计意图：运用单词卡片和歌谣教授单词，将所学内容与实际生活紧密联系，让学生快乐地学，加深单词的记忆。

(2)Observe the teacher post these cards on the blackboard. Ask students observe these words. Talk about “what’s the feature?”

They begin with a capital letter. 设计意图：让同学们通过认真观察找出十二个月份的特点，锻炼了学生的观察能力，自学能力。

(3)Learn the abbreviation of the words. Play a game：Looking for friends. 设计意图：通过找朋友的游戏帮助学生掌握十二个月份的缩写形式，让学生自己动手调动了学生的学习兴趣。

(4)Let’s sing a song.

Twelve Months 设计意图：以一首月份歌曲来活跃课堂气氛。

2.Sentences

(1)Let’s have a talk. The topic is what’s your favourite month?  Using the following sentences to make a dialogue with your partner .
