一、教学内容：

Lesson 3 More Reading and Writing of Unit 3 A Lucky Day , Book 8, Friends with English. Helen Keller is a famous writer. In 1903, she was 23 and wrote the book The Story of My Life. In the book, she talked about her life. Many people still like to read this book.

When Helen was nineteen months old, she was very sick and became dear and blind.

Helen was very sad because she could not hear or see. Anne Sullivan then became her teacher, and helped her to talk with her hands. Later, Helen went to school and learned to read. She also learned to write, and she wrote 12 books. 二、教学目标：

Get to know Helen Keller very well. 2.

Have the students pick up the reading skills. 3.

Moral education: Never give up when in troublesome. Keep on learning.

三、教学过程：

1. Pre-reading: A) Search the information of Helen Keller online. Get to know Helen

Keller very well by the mind map.
