【教材分析】

语言功能:运用will描述即将发生的事情。

语言结构:We’ll pick fruit. Will we pick orange?

教学目标:

1、知识与技能目标:

(1)语言知识目标:

学习并认读单词: fruit, apple, pear, orange, peach。学习并认读“表示将来状况”的目标语句:We’ll pick fruit. Will we pick…?

(2)语言技能目标:

能够根据图文说出和指认与采摘活动相关的单词;在图文或语境下正确运用句子进行简单的英语交流和开展活动;能正确运用目标词句来谈论和询问近期的活动和打算。

2、情感态度目标:

培养学生的合作意识和交际能力,使学生在学习中获得快乐体验。

【教学重难点】

教学重点:对Will we pick…? 语句的理解和运用;能够正确运用Will we pick…?进行提问和回答。

教学难点:正确理解和表达水果名称的复数形式。

【学生分析】

三年级的学生已经有过两年半的英语学习经历,已经形成了一定的、属于自己特有的学习方式和学习习惯,并有着一定的语言基础。他们曾在三年级的上学期学过使用be going to 表达将来时,加之这学期又有三个模块的will学习过程,为他们对本单元的学习和理解做好了充足的知识储备。三年级的学生活泼好动,敢于大胆开口说英语,对一切新鲜的事物充满了好奇,因此他们非常乐于去学习和探究本单元的“果园采摘”这一话题。教师应在本单元话题的基础上创设情景,引导学生在真实情景中运用We will…句型,询问和讨论近期的计划和将要发生的事情。

【教学过程】

One Preparation

1 Greeting.

2 Say the chant from Module 3 Unit 2.

3 Ask and answer. T:What will you do today? Will you go to the zoo? Two Lead-in

1 T: Today you are going to go to a fruit farm with Miss Zhou. Let’s go now! Here we are.(Show the fruit farm on the blackboard to the students.) What fruit have we got? We’ve got apples, pears, oranges and peaches.

2 Teach the word: pick.

3 A picking game. Tell the students the rules of the picking game. Ask a

few tudents to answer the questions and pick their favourite fruit at the fruit farm.

Three Presentation

1 T: This weekend, Ms Smart, Sam and Amy are going to a fruit farm.What will they pick? Let’s look at the video and then answer my qustions.

Number One: Will they pick oranges?

Number Two: Will they pick peaches?

Students watch the video and then answer the questions.

2 Read and fill in the blank.

This weekend, Amy’s family will go to a_____ farm. They will pick ____. They will pick____. They will pick_______. But they won’t pick _____. They haven’t got ______ at this farm.

3 Listen and repeat the dialogue.

4 Read in roles

Four Practice

1 Ss read the dialogue in role.

2 What will we pick for the rabbit/ monkey/ bear/ fox?Students ask and answer: Will we pick…? Yes, we will. No, we won’t.

3 Play a guessing game. Ss guess: Will he/she pick…? Teacher answers the questions.

Five Production

1 Where will you go on May Day? What will you do? What will you see? What will you eat? Ss answer the questions.

2 T: I will make a May Day’s plan. Please look and then make your May Day’s plan.

•Hello, boys and girls!

•Labor Day is coming!

•I will go to____________. (the countryside/the park/ the zoo/ Hainan)

•I will _________________.(have a picnic/ fly a kite/ feed the ducks/ swim in the sea)

3 Students make their plans and then come to the front and read the plans. Six Summary

1. T: You have very good plans. But I have some advice. On May Day you can go to a fruit farm and pick fruit. That’s fun. And there’s a saying: An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

2 Sing the song “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.

3 You are all good children. I love you! I hope we can be together soon.

Goodbye! Say goodbye to all the teachers.
