Audio Teaching Steps: Step 1 Lead-in: Watch a video about the zoo. T: Isn’t it amazing to visit a zoo like this? Do you know there is a zoo in Suzhou?

Ss: Suzhou Shangfangshan Forest Zoo. T: Yes. Here is the map of the zoo. But it’s very difficult for me to read. And this is the person I need. Do you know what she is?

Ss: She is the tour guide. T: Good. As a tour guide in the zoo. you need to know about animals, ways and directions.

Step 2 Fast Reading: Animals Locate while reading 1)

Look through the passage quickly and circle the animals you find. 2)

Fill in the blanks on the book with the animals you’ve found.
