1. To learn more about animals. 2. To get related information from the listening materials.

3. To finish the passage using the information from the listening materials. 4. To make proper response to the amazing things.

Focus of the lesson and predicted areas of difficulties:

1. Teach students to get related information from the listening materials and finish the passage using the information. 2. Teach students to talk about amazing things with others and make proper response.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Lead in

1) Free talk: The world is full of amazing things. Can you tell me some?

2) Tell students that we’ll learn more amazing things about people and animals separately.

3) Question: How can we find more amazing things about people?

Step 2: Presentation (amazing things about people)
