Unit 1 I’m Ms Smart Teaching Content:

1.New words: Good morning/Good afternoon/Boys/Girls/Ms/Mr Smart. 2.Sentence patterns: Good morning/Good afternoon/How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? I’m fine too.

Teaching Aims:

1.Knowledge object:

1)Make the students to master the new words and know the pronunciation of the new words.

2)Make the students to read and say the sentences. 2.Ability object:

1)Make the students learn to ask the owner.

2)Make the students to master the position English study. 3.Emotional object:

1)Cultivate students’ interest in English study.

2)Develop the students’ good living habit.

Teaching Important Points:

1.How to teach the students the new words. 2.Make the students understand the sentence. Teaching Difficult Points:

1.Students can read and memorize the new words. 2.Make the students use the sentence: Good morning/Good afternoon/How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? I’m fine too. Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Greetings ( 1minute)

The teacher and students greet each other. Step 2 Warming-up and Leading-in (3minutes)

1.The teacher and students talk with the following sentences: Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you. How are you today?

2.Let’s chant (Stand up). 3.Review 4.Then the teacher elicit the topic and write on the blackboard. Step 3 Presentation ( 24minutes) 1.The teacher show pictures ask students. Then the teacher elicits the new words and teach. 2.Practice: Students read the words together, one by one and group work. Then play a game: higher or lower. If the teacher says the words higher, the students will say the words lower. 3.The teacher elicits the sentence “Good morning/Good afternoon/How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? I’m fine too.”
