《A book about animals》教学设计

金堂县高板镇石龙小学陈庆娇

一、教学目标

（一）知识与技能

1、会读单词： giraffe, shark , camel , mountain , forest, desert , sea , grassland . 2、会询问和回答动物的居住地：”Where do … live? ...live in the…”

3、培养学生听、说，并运用英语交际的能力和合作学习的能力。

（二）过程与方法

1、教师指导学生通过多种形式读单词，掌握本课新学单词。

2、教师引导、点拨，学生用英语描述一些动物生活在哪里。

3、学生听录音，感悟英语的准确发音；教师引导学生在合作练习中巩固本课知识。

（三）情感、态度、价值观

1、让学生体会学习英语的乐趣，从而培养学生的乐学精神。

2、培养学生爱护动物保护美好环境的意识。

二、教学重、难点

1、重点：会询问和回答动物的居住地：”Where do … live? ...live in the…”

2、难点：a.掌握单词: camel, mountain , forest, desert等单词的发音。

b.会询问和回答动物的居住地：”Where do … live? ...live in the…”

五、教学过程

Step1: Warm up Greeting with the students. T: Do you like animals? What’s your favorite animal? Do you know my favorite animal. Let’s have a look and try to guess. (一笔一笔出示简笔画让学生猜这个动物是什么) T：Where can we find the tigers? (出示三个地点图片) Ss: The last one.（指大山的图片）

T: Yes. So where do tigers live? Ss : They live in the _____.(师带读mountains) Step2: lead in T: Today we will learn something about the animals. First let’s invite our old friends. What are they talking about? Ss: They are talking about a book. T: What is the book about? Do you know? Let’s listen.

Step 3: Presentation Listen and learn the words and sentences Steps4: Practice 1) Practice the new words 2) Work in pairs to practice the sentences

3) Listen and read the text. 4) Work in groups to make a new book. Step5 Homework.
