Teaching aims 1. Ss get more familiar with the sentence patterns: Where are you? Under the…? In the …?

2. Ss will be able to understand the word: table/bed and the sentences: let’s play hide and seek. Are you ready? I can’t find you. I’m behind you!

3. Ss will be able to understand the story and read it fluently. 4. Ss will be able to act out the story. Students｀condition Grade 3 students usually are between age of 9 to 10, they are usually playful but with little English-learning experience. they are not fluent in English, some even don't dare to speak. it's quintessential to appreciate their progress and develop their interest in learning English by encouraging them to speak confidently, practice actively and sing loudly. Step I:Warm up & Revision 1.Teacher's activities: Enjoy the song: In On Under 1/5 Students'activities:Ss: Enjoy the song. Purposes:歌曲热身,营造气氛,回顾旧知。

2.Teacher's activities: Play a guessing game: T: Where is the ball ? Students'activities:Ss: It’s a/an….

Purposes:老师变化球的位置,学生猜,激发学生兴趣,复习in，on，under。

Step II：Presentation & Practice 1.Teacher's activities : Present Zip’s room.

T:Where is the dog /duck/cat? Students'activities:Ss:It's in /on under the bed/table….

Purposes:1.描述房间里面的摆设,为下文猜做铺垫。在这里还特别强调了table和desk的区别。

2.Teacher's activities : PPT shows: Zoom:Open the door ,zip. Zip:I'm coming. Zoom:Where are you ? Zip:Haha !I'm behind the door! Zoom:I like the game. What's the name? Zip:Hide and seek!

Let's play again Zoom:1,2,3…10.Are you ready?

Zip:Yes! Students'activities:Ss guess: What game is it? Purposes:学生通过观察、模仿,感知Zip和Zoom玩的hide and seek。

3. Teacher's activities : T presents the picture of Zoom. PPT shows: Zoom:Where are you? I can’t find you!

Students'activities:Ss watch the end of story and think:What happened? Purposes:让学生了解最后的结局,激发学生疑问:中间Zip躲哪里去了? 4.Teacher's activities : T:Now, we are all Zooms. . Students'activities:Act like Zoom. Purposes:通过学生扮演Zoom找Zip这一段,体验Zoom找Zip的迫切的愿望。

5.Teacher's activities : T:You are Zooms! I am Zip. . T:Where are you, Zip? . Students'activities:Ss do the actions. Ssals imitate the pronunciationandintonation.Ss: 3/5 Haha! I’m behind you

Purposes: 同学们再次扮演Zoom,,体验behind这个方位词的语义与发音,教师扮演Zip,为下面同学扮演Zip铺垫。

6. Teacher's activities : Ask to act. Students'activities:Ss’s time.

Purposes:同学们看着文本,尝试演故事。

Step III ：Consolidation & Extension 1. Teacher's activities: T asks Ss to continue the story. Zip:1,2,3…10. Are you ready?

Students'activities:Ss discuss in groups of two and think about it. Purposes:角色转变,续编故事。

Step IV：Consolidation & Extension 1.Skilled reading this story. (熟练朗读这个故事) 2.Act out the story vividly. (生动地把故事表演出来) 3.Play the game with your friends. (和你的朋友一起玩这个游戏，并在游戏中运用所学的内容）
