Divide five groups and name them with “park, zoo, school, countryside, supermarket” (Guide Ss to learn “countryside” and “farmer”) Step III

Presentation and Practice 1.

Use a picture of calendar to guide Ss to learn “weekend”. 2.

Then guide Ss to talk about weekend plan with “I will...”

Play a game: Pass group’s plan. Have Ss pass the plan in groups. The last one gets the plan should come to the front and repeat their plans. 4.

Guide Ss to learn “What will you do this weekend?”

Then play the game “Ask and Answer”. Pick a group to answer “We will...”. The other groups should ask. 5.

Let Ss watch the cartoon of part 2 and find where Amy and Daming will go. Next let Ss listen to the tape and read after it. Then guide Ss to fill in blanks of their plans. After this, let Ss read together and retell the story on the blackboard.

Have Ss talk and finish their weekend plans. Then stick the pictures on poster. Finally, let Ss show their group’s plan. Step IV

Summary and homework 1.

Find the winner. Then tell Ss to be a good planner and make good plans. 2.
