Discussion Example:

When I was a student, I’d like to have Mrs Shen because she is serious and strict and her teaching is well organized and clear. Which teacher would you like to have? Explain why.

V. Teaching Reflections: 1. The students can hardly really learn sentence pattern by the teacher teaching them. I will show the sample sentences, get the students to read the passage and discover the similar sentences. Then I will ask them to study the sentences and help them find out the grammar rules themselves. Give the students more chances to practise reading them. That’s the way of learning grammar.

2. Give the students another one or two passage to read so that they can recognize the sentences with the kind of grammar they’ve just learned and then give them chances 4

to practise using them.
