Step 1 Warming up Greetings Sing the song 《How is the weather?》

Step 2 Presentation and drill CAI help the students to revise the weather: T: What’s the weather like? S; It’s rainy/sunny/windy/cold/hot/warm/cool. CAI show the pictures of the seasons, tell the students: There are four seasons in a year, what are they? They are spring/ summer/autumn(fall)/ winter. I like-------. ---------- Teach the new sentence pattern. Step 3 Practice Game----What’s it?

将四个季节的图片一一展示帮助学生复习所学内容，然后快速闪现某个季节的图片让学生用英语说出这个季节的名称，以及这个季节的特点。

Game—Look and judge Show some pictures of the clothes, get the students to guess : Which season do people wear them? Step 4 Consolidation Listening and reading Part A Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Part B Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Free-talk 出示不同季节的风景画若干，让学生们根据图片自由谈论。

出示世界各地和四季风景图片若干，让学生讨论。通过海南四季都炎热等例子，帮助学生理解各地的四季有所不同。

Step 4 Consolidation Listening and reading

Part A Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Part B Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat ,then act out the dialogue. Part C Listen and repeat. Get the students to introduce themselves, eg: My name is_____. I’m from Liuyang. I like ____. It’s _____. Step 3 Practice

Get the students to play dragon game. Step 4 consolidation Listening and reading Part E Get the students to read the passage and then fill in the blanks. Part F Let’s have fun. Writing Write down the important words on the exercise books. Homework Listen to the tape and repeat.
