Step 1 Warming up Greetings Sing the song 《How is the weather?》
Step 2 Presentation and drill CAI help the students to revise the weather: T: What’s the weather like? S; It’s rainy/sunny/windy/cold/hot/warm/cool. CAI show the pictures of the seasons, tell the students: There are four seasons in a year, what are they? They are spring/ summer/autumn(fall)/ winter. I like-------. ---------- Teach the new sentence pattern. Step 3 Practice Game----What’s it?
将四个季节的图片一一展示帮助学生复习所学内容,然后快速闪现某个季节的图片让学生用英语说出这个季节的名称,以及这个季节的特点。
Game—Look and judge Show some pictures of the clothes, get the students to guess : Which season do people wear them? Step 4 Consolidation Listening and reading Part A Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Part B Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Free-talk 出示不同季节的风景画若干,让学生们根据图片自由谈论。

Step 1 Warming up Greetings Sing the song 《Where are you from?》
Step 2 Presentation and drill CAI show the pictures of the seasons, help the students to revise the words of the seasons. Then ask them which season they like and ask them to tell the reasons. Step 3 practice 出示四季及各种天气的图片。学生根据图片问和答。
出示世界各地和四季风景图片若干,让学生讨论。通过海南四季都炎热等例子,帮助学生理解各地的四季有所不同。
Step 4 Consolidation Listening and reading
Part A Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat, then act out the dialogue. Part B Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat ,then act out the dialogue. Part C Listen and repeat. Part D Get the students to read the story, and help them to work out their difficulties. Homework Listen to the tape and repeat. 画一幅你最喜欢的季节的画。

CAI show the pictures of the seasons, help the students to revise the words of the seasons. Then ask them which season they like and ask them to tell the reasons. Step 2 Presentation and drill 游戏——Listen and do. 教师唇语单词,学生读唇辨读单词。另选两名学生到讲台上抢拍所听到的单词,先拍到的得分。
Get the students to introduce themselves, eg: My name is_____. I’m from Liuyang. I like ____. It’s _____. Step 3 Practice
Get the students to play dragon game. Step 4 consolidation Listening and reading Part E Get the students to read the passage and then fill in the blanks. Part F Let’s have fun. Writing Write down the important words on the exercise books. Homework Listen to the tape and repeat.
