《Unit 6 PE lessons Period1》教学设计一、教学目标:

1、能听、说、读、写本课的四会单词:high jump,longjump,long

race,short race,win.

2、能熟练掌握核心句型:

We have two PE lessons atschool every week.

Sometimes we play ball games.

My friends and I like playing sport.

3、能用合适的句型介绍体育课的基本情况。

4、初步了解奥运会的基本知识,热爱体育运动。

二、重点难点:

1、能在语境中运用本课的核心词汇和句型。

2、能用合适的句型介绍体育课的基本情况,热爱体育运动。

三、教学过程:

Step1.Warm up and revision

1.Greetings.

2.Do some warming-up exercises.

Step2. Presentation and practice

1.Lead in.

T:Stand in a line. Can you do it in PE lessons or Chinese

lessons?

Ss:PE lessons.

T:Show three balls:basketball,football and volleyball.

T:Do you like playing football?

S:Yes,I like playing football.(S catch it and say this sentence.)and so on.

T:Why do you like PE lessons?

S1:I like PE lessons.Because it’s fun.

I like PE lessons.Because they make us strong.

T:What sports do you do in PE lessons?

S:We play ball games.

2.Learn to say and use the words.

The students say and spell the words.

3.Talk about the sprots.

T:I know you do a lot of activities in PE lessons. Do you do high jump?

S1:Yes.I’m tall.So I’m good at high jump.

4.Ask and answer in pairs.

S1:What’s your favourite sport?

S2:I like…

Step3.Learn the conversation.

1.Watch the cartoon and lear to say the conversation.

2.Read the text and answer the following questions.

1)How many PE lessons do they have every week?

2) Do they like PE lessons?

3) What do they do in PE lessons?

3. Translate into Chinese.

4. Make a new dialogue.

5. Complete Peter’s notes.

Step4.Homework

1. Read Student’s Book page 34.

2. Introduce your favourite activity in PE lessons.
