Step 1. Warm-up. 1.Play the tape. Listen to the English song “Days of the week” and sing it along the tape. 2. Show the Knowledge Trees of this Unit. Ask students to realize the frame of Unit Five.And review the words, and sentences of Lesson 24. 3.Have a revision. (1) Show Ss the calendar and ask “What day is it today”

(2).Show Ss a bag and get them to guess what is in the bag. Step 2. Presentation.

※ Learn by oneself and guide by the teacher. 1. Show some pictures and let students say the phrases they know. Let students pay attention to the new words today’s learn.

2. Show the first guide. To learn the new words. Show another ppt. to help students read the new words and remember them. The group leaders read the words first and then the others read them with the partners. The group leaders check their reading. 3. Ask students to discuss in pairs. Let them talk about the whole meaning of the text, find the new words, read the text.(two people) 4. Ask students to discuss with all the group members. Talk about how to read the words. Talk about the important sentences. Test the writing of the new words and act the dialogue.(the same group) 5. Ask students to do the activities in different groups. The different groups will have a competition by making up the sentences with What would you like?I’d like…(the different groups)

Exercises 1.Show Ss the sentences in the dialogue.But they are at random, get Ss to put them into the right order.2.Do the exercises in the workbook. And check their answer.
