一、教学目标：

1.知识目标：能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词: clown, appear, put on, begin；能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型：What are you going to bring to the party? I’m going to bring some toys. Are we going to eat or play with the toys first?

2.能力目标：通过课文重点语言知识点的学习，能理解课文内容，能自然流畅地给课文内容配音和表演。

3.情感目标：通过本单元的学习，引导学生熟练运用一般将来时描述聚会打算，了解怎样安排聚会，知道西方的聚会礼仪。

二、教学重点、难点：

四．教学过程

1.Greetings T:Class begins. Good morning boys and girls. S:Good morning Miss Sheng. T:Sit down, please. 2.

Warm-up T: Boys and girls, today we’ll learn Unit5 A party.

T:Let’s enjoy a song about party . You can sing together.(播放歌曲Party time 的视频) 设计意图：通过欣赏一段关于聚会的视频，充分活跃课堂的氛围，有助于孩子们进入良好的学习状态。

T:In the video, they are going to have a party.

T:Do you remember the parties we held before? T:Now, let’s recall the happy time together.(播放孩子们聚会的照片和视频) T:Tet me tell you a good new. This May Day, we are going to hold a party again. My friend Daisy likes parties and she wants to come to our party. But she has a problem. Let’s listen what she says “Hello, I’m Daisy, I would like to come to your party, but I have nothing to bring now. Can you help me get some gifts? Here are 3 tasks for me. Each time I finish the task, I’m going to receive a gift. Are you ready to help me? ”(Daisy 边说，旁边边有中文字幕出现) T：Boys and girls, are you ready to help her? S：Yes! 设计意图:通过播放学生的聚会照片和视频，让孩子们回忆当初聚会的快乐时光，对下次将要举办的五一聚会充满期待，并且更为乐意地帮助Daisy完成任务获得礼物。

Presentation Round2：Question-and-answer game Rules: Ask your partners about their plans for their holidays. Use the following sentences patterns. A:What are you going to do next...? B:I’m going to.... A:Are you going to ....? B:Yes, I am./No, I’m not. T: Congratulations to you! You finish the task 1. Daisy receives a gift. Let’s see what is it. Oh, they are a lot of sweets.

T: The Children’s Day is coming. Mike and his friends are going to have a party too.

设计意图：通过师生和学生问答，询问对方的聚会安排，帮助学生充分掌握和运用新句型，同时又锻炼了孩子们的口语。

设计意图: 孩子们通过带着问题自读课文，培养了孩子们阅读思考的好习惯。并且猜一猜Liu Tao 将要为派对做些什么，调动孩子的好奇心。

④Round 3:Watch and answer(看卡通回答问题) He is going to be _a clown_ and bring some balloons .(teach: clown, balloons有单词语音) T: look, a clown appears. He is a great clown! He can do magic tricks. A rabbit appears. The rabbit disappears.(teach: appear有单词语音appear的用法：作动词，意为“出现”。第三人称单数：appears动词过去式：_________现在分词形式_______) 设计意图：通过看Cartoon回答问题，给学生一个整体的感知，有助于孩子们对课文的理解。在新授过程中，通过适当的练习，有助于孩子们对知识的掌握。

⑤Round 4:Judge the sentences 1.The children bring their things to Mike’s house on Sunday afternoon.(划线部分改为morning) 2.Liu Tao does not go to the party with his friends. (划线部分改为goes) 3.There are six Children at the party with his friends.(划线部分改为five) 4.The Children want to have some fruit first.(划线部分改为fun,在原文显现中teach:begin有单词语音)(注：改正错误的时候，显现原文并强调原句。) 设计意图：通过自读右半部分课文，同时判断句子的正误，有助于孩子们对课文的理解。

4. Consolidation Round 5:Reading and Understanding A:read after the tape(跟读原文的句子) 设计意图：通过跟读，来模仿语音语调，使孩子们英文发音更纯正。

设计意图：通过练习，检验孩子们对课文的掌握。

Task3: Enjoy and design a party We all know that beside Children’s Day, there are many other parties in the world. Round1:Enjoy parties over the world Let’s enjoy.(出示关于Birthday party, Christmas Party, Halloween party, Books party, Toys party, Food party, Clothes party的照片，边播放边有独白：A birthday party is a party to celebrate the anniversary of someone's birth. People usually invite their friends to their house, and eat a big birthday cake together; Christmas is a big day in Western countries. It’s on the 25th of December. People often have a Christmas party. You often see a lot of delicious food and a decorated Christmas at the party. They sometimes dress up like the Father Christmas and give gifts to each other at the party;Halloween is an interesting holiday in the West. It’s on the 31st

of October. People usually wear fancy clothes and go to dressing parties. The Children knock on people’s doors and shout “trick or treat” for sweets. Books party is for someone loves reading.The people who loves reading get together and share their feelings and ideas about the book they read. 3.show time T:Wow, you finish the last task! A new gift you win for Daisy, let’s see what it is! Oh, a lot of toys. Now, Daisy wants to say something to you: “Hooray! Thanks for helping me get so many gifts. Now, I have a lot of presents to bring to your May Day party. I’m looking forward to meeting you!”

设计意图，通过让孩子们小组讨论关于他们将要举办的聚会，对今天课文的教学有了拓展和延伸，有利于打破孩子思维的局限性。
